Fundraise

If you would like to fundraise for Sporting Minds UK, we would be extremely grateful. This can be in the form of anything from setting your own personal sporting challenge in the times of Covid-19, hosting an event at your local club (with relevant social distancing measures applied) to planning to run a marathon, once larger sporting events begin to take place again.

All money from fundraising helps to enable Sporting Minds UK to make a difference – raising awareness of positive mental health in sport and it also funds our specialist one to one support around mental health in young athletes.

We will be pleased to help to promote your events by issuing press releases on your behalf to your local media, and/or specialist press and media, to obtain wider coverage and support for you, plus we’ll feature fundraising campaigns on our social media platforms and on our website.

For fundraising related enquiries, and if you’d like our help with your local PR, please contact hello@sportingmindsuk.org.

If you would like to make a donation instead of fundraising, please head over to our ‘donate’ section.

Our current fundraising initiatives are as follows:

Online Auction

During these unprecedented times, the trustees and founder anticipate an increase in demand for our services, since all athletes are unable to train or compete. In fact, we are already seeing an increase in requests for our unique 1-1 support package provide by BUPA Healthcare and 100% funded by Sporting Minds UK. However, the prolonged ban on social gatherings has led to the cancellation or postponement of several key fundraising events for the foreseeable future.

In response to this, and to keep raising funds to support young athletes, we have launched an online auction platform:

https://www.sportingmindsukauction.co.uk

Full instructions on how to make a bid etc. are contained within the FAQ section on the above link.

We would be delighted if you could take some time to have a look at the platform and hopefully bid for some of the exciting lots on offer.
