Brewood Cricket Club Junior Day with Will Smeed.


Sporting Wellness Ambassador and The Hundred star Will Smeed, inspired youngsters at the family friendly Brewood Cricket Club’s Junior Day on Sunday.

Brewood’s cricket keen youngsters were thrilled to meet the Somerset batsman, who this year was himself the youngest player in the inaugural edition of The Hundred, playing for Birmingham Phoenix. Will excelled with his rapid run scoring, and played a significant part in helping Birmingham Phoenix reach the The Hundred final.

Will put on a six hitting mini masterclass, U11 girls and boys had the opportunity to bowl at Will in the nets, and Will presented the individual and team awards to the clubs junior section. Will was also pleased to sign lots of autographs and have photographs taken with the youngsters, who had all enjoyed and been inspired watching him play in The Hundred.
